The birds of the Lake Baikal Region - an ornithological excursion

The excursion will lead to the Lake Baikal, to the Taiga of the Chamar-Daban-Mountains, to the steppe and to the big Selenga-Delta. We will see characteristic sibirian species, waders, different eagle-species.
ITINERARY
1. Day: Journey to Irkutsk
2. Day: Arrival in Irkutsk, trip to Bolschoe Goloustnoe, overnight stay in the vacation house
3. Day: Excursion to the delta and to the steppe: waders, eagles, ducks. Overnight stay in little vacation house.
4. Day: Excursion to the forests of the surroundings and to the river valley. Overnight stay in little vacation house
5. Day: Mountains and forest. Overnight stay in little vacation house.
6. Drive over Irkutsk to Kultuk at the southern Lake Baikal. Overnight stay in little vacation house.
7. Day: Baikalshore and lowmoor near Kultuk. Drive to the river Sneschnaja into the Chamar-Daban-Mountains. Overnight stay in vacation houses.
8. Day: Forest-excursion in the Chamar-Daban-Mountains. Overnight stay in vacation houses.
9. Day: Go to to Mursino in the Selenga-Delta: Overnight stay in the Lighthouse in the Selengadelta.
10. Day: Excursion in the delta by boat. Go to Istok. Overnight stay in tents.
11. Day: Baikalshore. Overnight stay in tents.
12. Posolskoe lowmoor. Overnight stay in tents.
13. Day: Go to Chamar-Daban-Mountains. Overnight stay in vacation houses.
14. Day: Go to Irkutsk, overnight stay in Irkutsk
15. Day: Departure
